Tools & Workflows

The MCP server exposes 7 tools, all scoped to the connected project. Your assistant discovers them automatically; this page is for knowing what it can do and what to ask.

Tools

| Tool | What it does | | --- | --- | | get_project_context | Your product, audience, talking points, keywords and competitors. The assistant calls this first to understand what you're selling. | | get_top_opportunities | Ranked shortlist of what to engage on right now, combining relevance score, post freshness and traction. Each item explains why it ranks. Use type: "seo" to rank Google-ranking posts by search volume and position instead. | | list_inbox | Browse the inbox with filters: unread, saved, relevance score, type, keyword, subreddit, sorting and pagination. | | get_inbox_item | The full post and matched comment for one item. Called before drafting a reply. | | get_inbox_stats | Counters plus your reply activity: current streak, longest streak, replies this week and month, top subreddit and keyword. | | update_inbox_item | Mark items read, saved, declined or replied. | | log_reply | Records the reply you actually posted, so your analytics and future suggestions keep improving. |

Things to ask

Daily briefing

What should I engage on today? Give me your top 3 with a one-line pitch angle for each.

Draft a reply

Open the first one, read the full post and draft a reply in my voice. Helpful first, product mention only if it fits.

After posting

Posted it. Mark it replied and log the final text.

Clean up

Go through my unread items below 50 relevance and decline the ones that are clearly off-topic. Show me the list before declining.

Check momentum

How's my reply streak? What subreddit am I most active in?

The reply workflow

The server teaches your assistant this loop:

  1. get_project_context once per conversation
  2. get_top_opportunities when you ask what to engage on
  3. get_inbox_item to read the full thread before drafting
  4. You post the reply on Reddit yourself
  5. update_inbox_item (replied) + log_reply once you confirm

Step 5 matters: it keeps your streak, heatmap and reply stats accurate even if you never open the dashboard.
