RedShip monitors Reddit to find potential customers for your product. This documentation explains how the platform works.

Core Concepts

Search Types

RedShip uses 3 different search methods to find opportunities:

• SEO Search — Finds posts that rank on Google
• Realtime Search — Monitors new posts as they’re created
• Mentions Search — Tracks keyword mentions in comments

Keywords

Keywords determine what RedShip looks for. There are two types:

• Post Keywords — Used for SEO and Realtime searches, scored by AI
• Mention Keywords — Used for Mentions search, matched directly

Exclusions

Filter out noise by excluding specific sources:

• Subreddits — Block entire communities from your results
• Usernames — Block specific users (bots, spam accounts)
