Cut the noise
Because RedShip watches all of Reddit, a few matches come from subreddits that aren't a real fit (false positives). Here's how to keep your inbox sharp.
Clean feed
A floating Clean feed button sits at the bottom of every inbox. The badge shows how many subreddits are worth reviewing. Open it to see the off-topic subreddits RedShip flagged, with how many matches they generated and why they look like noise. For each one:
- Block — its posts leave your inbox immediately and it's added to your exclusions.
- Keep — tells RedShip it's actually relevant, so it won't be suggested again.
You can block several at once.
We never block anything automatically. We'd rather keep monitoring all of Reddit for you and leave you in control of what stays.
Block from a post
You don't need Clean feed to block — click any subreddit or username on a post to exclude it instantly.
Exclusions (the full list)
Everything you block — from Clean feed, from a post, or by hand — lands in Settings → Exclusions. There you can:
- Remove entire subreddits that consistently produce off-topic matches.
- Silence usernames (bots, spammers, irrelevant accounts).
- Unblock anything to start monitoring it again.
Blocking removes existing posts right away. If a stray new post from a blocked subreddit ever slips back in, it's one click from being blocked again.
