How RedShip finds posts

RedShip watches all of Reddit for conversations relevant to your product, then scores and sorts them into your inbox. Here's what happens under the hood.

Keywords are the entry gate

Everything starts from your keywords. They define what RedShip looks for. The sharper they are, the more relevant your inbox.

Three ways we find conversations

SEO opportunities (weekly)

Every Monday morning we scan for Reddit posts that already rank on Google for your keywords. These keep paying off for months because people keep finding them through search — and AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity cite those same threads. See SEO Opportunities.

Real-time posts (continuous)

We monitor Reddit continuously and catch new posts matching your keywords within minutes, so you can join while the discussion is fresh. See Posts.

Comments (continuous)

We also track your keywords inside comments, not just posts — useful for catching buying signals deep in a thread. See Comments.

On top of that, Brand Watch surfaces mentions of your brand and competitors.

AI relevance scoring

Each match is scored 0–100 by AI based on how well it fits your product and ICP. Higher scores surface first. You control the minimum score from the inbox filters, and you cut noise further with Clean feed and exclusions.

A wide net means a few off-topic subreddits will slip in (false positives). That's expected — block the noisy ones in one click from Clean feed.
