Why not just search Reddit yourself?
Reddit's own search doesn't cover it
Reddit has no native version of this. You can follow a subreddit or save a thread, but there is no setting that says "tell me whenever anyone mentions project management tools".
Search is the usual fallback, and it has two holes. It barely surfaces comments, which is where most recommendation requests actually live. And it hands you a list rather than an alert, so you still have to remember to go and run it.
That last part is what kills it. Most people run the same three searches every morning for about two weeks, then quietly stop. The threads keep coming, you just stop seeing them.
Timing matters more than coverage
A Reddit thread does most of its traffic in the first few hours. The comment that lands early is the one that gets upvoted and stays near the top. Show up a day later and your reply sits at the bottom of a thread nobody is reading anymore.
