Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-16

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RedShip at https://redship.io. By using our website, web application, browser extension, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.

1. What RedShip is

RedShip helps founders and marketers find customers on Reddit. The Service includes:

  • A web dashboard that monitors subreddits for posts matching your keywords and uses AI to score relevance.
  • A Chrome extension that lets you send semi-automated direct messages and replies on Reddit — you remain in control of every action.
  • Outbound integrations with Slack and custom HTTP webhooks for real-time alerts.
  • Team workspaces where multiple seats can share access to a project.

2. Subscription, billing & 15-Day Pass

Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Professional) renew automatically each month or year via Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings or the Stripe customer portal — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

The 15-Day Pass is a one-time, non-recurring payment that grants access for 15 calendar days. No card is stored after checkout and no subscription is created.

3. Refunds

We offer subscription refunds on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of a new subscription — email us at axel@redship.io to start the process. The 15-Day Pass is non-refundable due to its short duration.

4. Your account & responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your RedShip account and any connected Reddit account.
  • All activity that occurs under your account, including activity by team members you invite.
  • Reviewing every AI-generated draft before posting it to Reddit.
  • Compliance with Reddit's Terms of Service, Content Policy, and individual subreddit rules.
  • Compliance with applicable laws regarding marketing, advertising, and direct messaging.

5. Reddit usage and the Chrome extension

RedShip is designed to help you find genuine opportunities. Our Chrome extension assists with sending direct messages and posting comments — it removes manual steps but every action is initiated by you. We do not run a bot on your behalf and we do not enable vote manipulation, mass-DMing, or content automation that would violate Reddit's policies.

You agree to use the Service for legitimate business purposes only, follow Reddit's rules, respect each community's guidelines, and avoid spam or deceptive behavior. We are not affiliated with Reddit, Inc. — your Reddit usage remains subject to Reddit's own terms.

6. Team workspaces

Paid plans include a fixed number of team seats. As a workspace owner you can invite teammates by email; invited members get scoped access to the projects you share with them. The owner is responsible for the actions of invited members and may revoke access at any time. We may process the invited member's email and basic profile data to provision their access.

7. Third-party integrations (Slack & webhooks)

When you connect Slack, you authorize RedShip to post alert messages to the channel you select using OAuth credentials issued by Slack. You can revoke this access at any time from the Alerts tab or your Slack workspace settings.

When you configure a webhook, you authorize us to send HTTP requests containing alert payloads to the URL you provide. You are responsible for the security and reliability of that endpoint and for handling the data we deliver in accordance with applicable law.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be impacted by Reddit API availability, third-party outages, scheduled maintenance, or unforeseen events. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. AI-generated content

We use AI to score post relevance and to draft reply suggestions. AI output is probabilistic and may contain errors. Always review drafts and scores before acting on them — you are solely responsible for any content you publish.

10. Prohibited uses

You may not use RedShip to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Violate Reddit's Terms of Service or Content Policy.
  • Engage in spam, vote manipulation, harassment, or deceptive practices.
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights.
  • Send malicious payloads to webhook endpoints under your control or others'.
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or sub-license the Service without written permission.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or use the Service in ways that violate Reddit's policies. On termination, your access ends and we may delete your account data after the retention window described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedShip is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to Reddit account suspensions, lost business opportunities, or reputational harm — arising from your use of the Service.

13. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools to understand product usage and improve the Service. See the Privacy Policy for details.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be handled in French courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
