Show up in AI answers by showing up on Reddit
Ask ChatGPT which tool to use in your category. It names three. None of them is you. Where do you think it got that list? Track how often the models name you, find the Reddit threads those answers are built from, and get into them.
Weekly visibility report. How often ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI name you, and how that moves week to week.
Share of voice vs competitors. Your slice of every brand mention in your category. A rival only gains what you lose.

The basics
Wait, what is AI SEO?
AI SEO, sometimes called GEO or answer engine optimization, is the practice of getting your brand named inside the answers that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews give, rather than inside a list of blue links. There is no submission form and no tag to add. The models assemble those answers from sources they trust, and on questions about products and tools, the source they lean on hardest is Reddit.
Why AI SEO?
The answer gets given hundreds of times a week
A Reddit thread peaks and fades. An AI answer about your category runs on repeat, unchanged, to everyone who asks. Being left out of it is not neutral.
A bad answer repeats itself
If ChatGPT names three competitors and not you, it will keep naming them, to every buyer who asks the same question. Unlike a search ranking you can watch move, this one is invisible until someone tells you.
What Reddit says becomes what AI says
Roughly 21% of Google AI Overviews cite a Reddit thread, and Perplexity cites Reddit in about 47% of its answers. The models are reading those discussions whether or not you are in them.
Nobody can buy this placement
There is no ad slot in an AI answer. Your competitor's budget does nothing here. It is one of the last channels where showing up is earned rather than bid on.
How it works
See where you stand, then go change it
Measurement first, because you cannot fix a number you have never seen.
We ask the models your category questions
Every week, the questions your buyers actually type get put to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI. We record which brands each answer names, how often, and in what tone.
You see your share, next to theirs
Your visibility, your share of voice, your mention count and your sentiment, tracked over time and side by side with the competitors you're being compared to.
You work the threads behind the answers
The LLM inbox surfaces the Reddit discussions those answers pull from. You reply where you genuinely belong, and the next round of answers is built from a corpus that includes you.
Features
Your AI visibility dashboard
Four numbers that tell you whether the models know you exist.
Visibility over time
The share of each week's answers naming you at least once.
Share of voice
Your slice of all brand mentions. It adds up to 100%, so it is strictly zero-sum.
Mention count
How many times each brand was named across every answer that week.
Sentiment
The average tone of your mentions, from negative through neutral to positive.
LLM inbox
The Reddit threads the answers are built from, scored and ready to reply to.
AI reply drafts
A helpful answer drafted for every source thread, in your voice.
In more detail
Can you actually influence what ChatGPT says about you?
Not directly, and be careful who tells you otherwise
There is no submission form for ChatGPT. No schema tag that gets you named, no dashboard at OpenAI where you correct the record, no amount of money that puts you in an answer. Anyone selling you direct influence over a model's output is selling you something that does not exist.
What exists is the corpus. The models build answers from sources they have learned to trust, and for questions about tools and products, Reddit is near the top of that list. That is the whole mechanism, and it is indirect by nature.
So you write the source, not the answer
When someone asks a model which tool solves a problem, it is summarising what it has read. If ten Reddit threads discuss your category and your name appears in none of them, the summary cannot include you. If your name appears in six of them, attached to a useful answer someone upvoted, it starts to.
This is slower than SEO and much slower than ads. The threads have to exist, the answers have to be good enough to survive a vote, and the models have to catch up. Months, not weeks.
It is also the reason measurement comes first. Without a weekly number you are guessing, and the founders who quit this after a month quit because nothing visible happened, not because nothing happened.

Testimonials
Loved by founders and marketers
RedShip is one of those rare products that feels instantly useful from day one. It turns Reddit from a noisy time-sink into a laser-focused acquisition channel. The setup is fast, the UI is clean, and the AI relevance scoring makes it obvious where to jump in. I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who wants to take Reddit marketing seriously in 2026.
A big thank you to Axel for Redship! It's hard to stay consistent on Reddit. I tried to be active on it several times, but I always gave up. I thought maybe it wasn't my platform to get used to. And now I'm actively using only Redship. It's a very useful service. If you're also having trouble getting used to and being consistent on Reddit, I highly recommend it.

Why Reddit
One reply.
Three compounding channels.
Answer the right thread once. It keeps working long after the conversation goes quiet.
What are you all using for a 40 person team? Willing to pay
We hit the same wall around 40 seats. What actually fixed it for us was RedShip.
Same day, you get the click.
The person asking is already shopping. They get a real answer, and so does everyone who lands on the thread after them.

We hit the same wall around 40 seats. What actually fixed it...
Weeks later, you get the traffic.
Reddit outranks most vendor pages. The thread starts pulling in people who had never heard of you.
Months later, you become the answer.
Assistants lean on those threads when someone asks what to buy. The recommendation comes out of their mouth instead of yours.
Our philosophy
We automate the search,
not your voice.
A machine is good at reading thousands of threads. It is terrible at sounding like someone worth replying to.

What are you all using for a 40 person team?
The digging, we take off your hands.
Reading thousands of threads and judging which ones deserve an answer is machine work. It is done before you ever open the app.
Draft ready
Had the same problem last year. Switching our setup fixed it for good. Happy to walk you through exactly what we did if it helps.
The reply, always yours.
Redditors spot a bot instantly. The comment that actually wins someone over is the one only you could have written, so we never send it for you.
Do not automate the replies either. Reddit hunts bots, shadow-removing their comments and banning accounts overnight. You would never even know it happened.
